With summer travel on the way, TSA has revealed the worst times to fly out of MSP.

Earlier this year, MSP was named one of the best airports for connecting flights and to fly out of with chances of a 45 minute delay just 5.08%, cancellation rate less than 1% and missed connection odds just under 6%.

Still, even the best airport can be overwhelmed by summer travel, and with an extra 1,125 travelers per day expected this summer, TSA is offering advice to make for smoother travel.

According to Bring Me The News, TSA reports that Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will see longer lines and wait times specifically between the hours of 5-9am and 2-4pm.

TSA also reminds travelers that all electronics larger than a cell phone are required to be in bins and out of their cases for x-ray screening.

For even smoother, more efficient travel TSA recommends TSA Precheck and Global Entry 5-year benefit plans for $85 and $100 respectively.
