Chair Lift Speed Dating Event Tomorrow

SKI DATING?

Here's a new one. I've heard of speed dating; never tried it. This looks really interesting. Tomorrow at Afton Alps, you can try Chair Lift Speed Dating. It's a great way for skiing and snowboarding singles to meet.

A SUCCESSFUL EVENT

This is the second year that Afton Alps is hosting the event, with matchmaking service LUMA. Tomorrow from 2-6 pm, you can pay $30 or $10 with a season pass, and join in the fun.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The event is open to anyone age 21-70....Why they stopped at 70 is beyond me. Basically, you jump on a chairlift with someone, chat on the ride up, and then meet someone else on the next lift.  You can ski down together, or not. Participants are encouraged to meet as many people as possible.

SOCIAL HOUR & COMPLIMENTARY TOUCH UPS

If you're worrying about hat hair and no makeup, complimentary touch ups are being offered during the social hour, so ski or snowboard your heart out. You know you look good!

You DO need to be on ski's or snowboards to ride the lift and participate in the event.
