It’s pretty rare to see an artist now a-days with any degree of longevity. The majority of singers and musicians that you hear on the radio typically have their fifteen minutes of fame, and then they’re yesterday’s news. But that wasn’t always the case.

There was a golden era of music just a few decades ago when artists had integrity, and were in for the long haul. They sure don’t make ‘em like they used to. Among all the greats that emerged from that era, there’s one that stands out in particular.

I’m talking about the man, the legend - Elton John. “Sir” Elton John to be exact. He’s been pumping out hit songs for nearly 50 years. “Rocket Man” “Candle In The Wind” and “Tiny Dancer” are timeless classics in my book. Not to mention “Circle Of Life” from “The Lion King” soundtrack. Unfortunately, he will be retiring after his current tour.

His upcoming concert at Target Center on February 21st has been well advertised for well over a year now, but you probably didn't know that he actually announced a second date the day after. If you can't snag a ticket for his first show on the 21st, there's still plenty left for his Target Center performance on February 22nd.
