The National Weather Service says that in addition to excessive heat & humidity today, there is also a risk of heavy rain and severe weather. Tune to 98.1 for possible watches & warnings.

The heat index is expected to approach 100 this afternoon in St. Cloud. Heat illness will be possible for those active outdoors, or those susceptible to heat illness such as children and the elderly.
