I know that it’s considered pretty un-cool to be a wine connoisseur when you’re a 25 year old male. Wines are reserved for wealthy older men, and chicks. My friends give me a hard time pretty frequently about my love for the grape based beverage.

But I can’t help it. The heart wants what it wants, and my heart wants expensive, bitter, red wine. Sorry – not sorry. As a wanna-be wine snob, I’ll take basically any opportunity I get to try new wines. That’s why I’m stoked for the Fine Spirits Classic in Minneapolis tomorrow (July 26th.)

You’ll be able to sample new brands and spirits from around the world, while enjoying food and gathering new cocktail recipes. Your General Admission ticket includes your tasting glass, gourmet bites and endless sips from 6:30 - 9 p.m.

For only $10 more you can VIP, which gives you access to the fun at 5:30, as well as a VIP gift bag and specialty cocktail. The Fine Spirits Classic is taking place at Minnesota Orchestra Hall and general admission is only $50.
