The National Weather Service says the first accumulating snowfall of the season is on the way for Central Minnesota tomorrow night through Friday. Strong winds are also on the way.

National Weather Service

From the National Weather Service this afternoon: The first snow of the season is expected to move in late Thursday night and last through Friday. There are a few complicating factors for accumulating snow, especially along and east of I-35. Those include near or above freezing temperatures, warm ground temperatures, and rain mixing with the snow at times which would significantly limit accumulation.
