As a die-hard fan of all things rock-n-roll, I’ll take any chance I can to go out and see a killer concert. A lot of my favorite bands are from the 70s and 80s. You know, stuff like Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Van  Halen, that type of stuff.

Unfortunately, it’s either too expensive to go see any of the bands from that era perform, or they’ve already retired. But there’s still a glimmer of hope for those of us who crave seeing all the legendary tunes from that era played live. “Rock the Prarie” is a local concert that will be celebrating classic rock music.

Everyone’d favorite glam rock tribute band – Hairball – will be headlining the event. Not to mention “Blimp” – a Zeppelin tribute group – and the Devon Worley band will be opening things up. The show will take place at the Albany Amphitheatre.

There are several different options for tickets, VIP passes, and camping. It will cost you anywhere between $25 - $175 depending on what you decide to purchase. The show kicks off at 5:30 pm on September 8th and tickets and passes are on sale right now.
