The National Weather Service says there is increasing confidence that a winter storm will cause significant travel impacts across Minnesota late Wednesday through Friday.

This storm system will likely bring heavy snow from Southwest Minnesota, through Central Minnesota, and into Northwest Wisconsin.

Latest forecast guidance indicates that the greatest potential for heavy snow will be in Southwest MN to Northwest WI. A mix of rain & snow will be likely further south.
