As someone who has moved into a new state a couple of times, one of the first things you start hearing about is the healthcare of the new community.

Often people will warn you about going to the local hospital because of a bad experience they or someone they know have had along the way.

I can say I did hear a few things about CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital when we first came here, but there’ve been a couple of times my wife has had to be treated there since we moved here in September, and I just want to say “Thank You” to the nurses and staff that have taken care of her.

Last week, my wife had a scheduled out-patient procedure. Upon arrival and getting in place, we learned the Doctor was running behind schedule because he had work with another patient that took longer than expected.

The nurses made such great efforts to make my wife and I comfortable while we waited. Once the procedure started, the care my wife received was nothing short of outstanding. Following the treatment, it was determined that she needed to stay the night for observation. Again, the care she received was stellar.

My wife has been in the hospital several times during our marriage, so to say I am someone who can gauge good healthcare would be accurate.

The care she has gotten both times she’s been hospitalized at CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital has been excellent. I want to be clear that this is just our perspective from the care we’ve experienced firsthand. In the age of social media, complaints are usually the loudest voices heard, I wanted to make sure that a positive review was made public.

Thanks to Tessa, Kyrsten, Emily and Emma, who were her nurses and cared for her while she was there.
