There are really only a handful of singer-songwriters in the history music that made a long term impact on pop culture. Some of them being Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.

Of course, another name that has to make the list is the one and only – John Mayer. John is easily one of the most influential songwriters of our time. Personally, I've been a fan for quite a few years now. He's basically the Eric Clapton of our generation.

If you're like me and don't like big crowds, despite how cool John is, you'll probably skip out on his performance at the Xcel this August. However, there is an awesome alternative for we introverted fans. The Heartbreak Warfare tribute to John Mayer was originally taking place at the Le Musique Room in St. Michael on June 7th (tonight.)

It's one of the best (and to be honest, one of the only) John Mayer tributes around. However, unfortunately the show has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
