Minnesota Closing in on 14,000 DWI Arrests for 2018

I found this number to be absolutely staggering, but Minnesota law enforcement have already made 13,622 DWI arrests so far in 2018 -- and we're just a little more than halfway through the year.

This past weekend's 291 statewide DWI busts bring the total to just under 14,000. With most of the summer still ahead, we're sure to put the total far above the 20K mark by year's end.

That's so crazy to me. I cannot for the life of me understand why we keep doing this. Drink, have fun, whatever -- but we need to stop getting behind the wheel. This is not going to end well.
