There is nothing worse than living in a state that's not very exciting with things to do and fun. Here's why Minnesota ranked 10th, and also who's the least fun state. Can you guess who it is?

Wallethub just released their results of a study of each of the 50 states and how "fun" they are. They used criteria to come up with these rankings that included movie costs to accessibility of national parks to casinos per capita.

Minnesota ranked 10th out of the 50 states, which is quite an honor when you compared who we were up against! We were 10th in "Entertainment & Recreation", and 13th in "Nightlife" fun and options. Here's who were all in the top 10:

  1. California
  2. New York
  3. Nevada
  4. Florida
  5. Illinois
  6. Washington
  7. Texas
  8. Colorado
  9. Pennsylvania
  10. Minnesota

It's almost a given that California would top this list. They're always warm and have every option available for a good time. I'm surprised Pennsylvania made the list over Minnesota though. I've driven through that state and there wasn't much that impressed me.

So you're wondering who came in LAST on the list? It was West Virginia. I've never been there but now I know that I'll never have a reason to now!
