Not even the MN Viking's QB can escape the truth -- when it comes to the Minnesota State Fair, we're all just average Joe's.

Over the weekend Vikings Quarterback Kirk Cousins tried to join the thousands descending upon the Minnesota State Fair grounds but was denied by...lack of parking.

Saturday he tweeted: "Raincheck on Minnesota State Fair...parking was a challenge.. Hoping later this week I can try a for the first time"

According to Bring Me the News, the opening day saw a new record 122,000 people on opening day. With rain in the forecast, Friday was probably quieter, though with sun back Saturday, the fairgrounds -- and parking lots -- were clearly back to capacity.

Naturally, Minnesotans came to his rescue/support, with some Minnesota goodwill, tips and suggestions:

Next time you can't find parking, just remember this -- you and Kirk Cousins now have something in common.
