Queen have released a second trailer for the long-awaited Freddy Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, which will be released on Nov. 2.

As with the first trailer that came out in May, the tag line "The only thing more extraordinary than their music is his story" is prominently featured along with a new line: "This fall, fearless lives forever."

In the trailer, Mercury (Rami Malek) approaches his future bandmates after a gig and lobbies to be their singer. Mercury's longtime companion, Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton), is also featured, as is Queen's uphill climb to stardom. The music includes a mash-up of "We Will Rock You," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Another One Bites the Dust," "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions"

You can watch the two-and-a-half minute clip below.

There are also recreations of live performances as well as the recording of "Bohemian Rhapsody," which was the focus of the initial trailer. Upset with Mercury's perfectionism, drummer Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy) shouts at one point, "How many more 'Galileos' do you want?" To which Mercury replies, "Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen."

That line and a few other intimations of Mercury's sexual orientation in the trailer may have been included to deflect claims of "hetwashing" -- the changing of a gay character to a straight one -- that arrived with the initial trailer and the synopsis, which doesn't mention that Mercury specifically died of AIDS.

Writer and producer Bryan Fuller, who is gay, took the film's creative team to task. "I feel what the trailer is doing is queer-erasure," he said. "If they were out and proud with his bisexuality, they would have indicated he was bisexual. Showing him romantic with a woman, but not a man (three frames don’t count) is not a celebration of bisexual identity. It’s hiding it."
