If you're headed to the Minnesota State Fair this weekend, you may want to bring a rain jacket or umbrella.

The Great Minnesota Get Together kicks off Thursday, and weather should be ideal with highs about 75 and mostly sunny according to the National Weather Service Twin Cities.

Clouds will start to roll in late Thursday, though, with thunderstorms predicted Thursday evening and through the weekend.

Of course, no one wants crummy weather at the State Fair, but don't let that stop you from going! It just might work to your advantage -- keeping other Fair-goers away and leaving it all to you. Plus, there are definitely enough in-door attractions that you can go and keep mostly dry. Just bring an umbrella or rain jacket, and you should be fine!
