There are really only a handful of funky, tasteful bands and artists to ever grace radio airwaves. Among them The Jimi Hendrix Experience, James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, and Prince. Of course, it’s awfully hard to talk about great funk groups without mentioning The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

These guys were all the rage back in the 90s, and even had some pretty massive success in the early 2000s. They haven’t released a whole lot of new music in recent years, but they’re still just as active as ever when it comes to playing live. They recently announced that they will performing at the Great Pyramids Of Giza in Egypt.

The show is taking place on March 15th. Tickets are available online now for as cheap as 1,600.00 EGP (or roughly $90.) Although a full blown trip to Egypt is pretty expensive all together, that’s not a bad ticket price for a once in a lifetime show.
