The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10 PM tonight through 10 AM Saturday for portions of Central & Northern Minnesota including Benton, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Todd, Douglas, and Kanabec Counties.
The National Weather Service is saying the Friday could be a snowy one here in Central Minnesota. To add insult to injury, the Easter Bunny is going to freeze his tail off -- with lows Sunday morning in the single digits.
It's looking more likely that we will see plowable snow Friday night and Saturday across much of Central Minnesota. What looks to begin as rain late Friday is expected to change over to snow with to 3 or 4" of accumulation possible by Saturday morning.
March is the snowiest month of the year in St. Cloud -- so we shouldn't be too surprised, but according to the National Weather Service we're in for 2-3 inches of snow beginning Monday night into Tuesday.
