ST. CLOUD — The fun is endless this weekend around Central Minnesota. You can enjoy an outdoor concert at the annual Takin' It To The Streets party on 5th Avenue, hang out with country band Diamond Rio for the Sauk Rapids Fire Department dance, check out a rock band marching band Mucca Pazza at the College of St. Benedict, see some hot rods at the Bloodsuckers Bash, and catch Singin' in the Rain at the Paramount Theatre.     Takin' It To The Streets

    Pioneer Place

    The most anticipated event of the year will taken place on 5th Avenue this weekend. Pioneer Place is hosting their annual Takin' It To The Streets outdoor music festival. Headlining this year’s show will be Pamela McNeill, with other musical acts such as Mick Sterling, and Dirty Word. A special surprise band will kick things off starting at 5:30 p.m. You can also find local food vendors, beer gardens, wine tent, mojito area, and lots of great music and dancing. Tickets for the show are $44 and the event is Saturday night.

    Diamond Rio

    Rollies

    One of country musics biggest groups will be in Sauk Rapids this weekend. Diamond Rio headlines the annual Sauk Rapids Fire Department dance at Rollie's. The gates open at 4:00 p.m. with opening act Canyon Cowboys taking the stage at 6:00 p.m. Diamond Rio will follow around 8:00 p.m. Tickets are just $40 at the gate or online.

    Mucca Pazza

    Escher Auditorium

    A marching band with rock band flare will be performing in the area this weekend. Mucca Pazza celebrates the band geek in all of us with outrageous antics and excellent music. They perform a zany, big band feel with a lot of fun thrown in. Tickets for the show are going for just $25. You can also get tickets for just $12.50 through the Value Connection. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Escher Auditorium at the College of St. Benedict's.

    Bloodsucker's Bash

    Milaca

    Get your fill of exotic, muscle and classic cars and motorcycles all in one place this weekend. The Hairy Mosquito Trading Company is holding their fifth annual Bloodsucker's Bash. Besides seeing some amazing cars there will also be several contests like burnouts and loud pipes. There will also be an auction. Food and ice cream will be available for purchase. The show starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 6:00 p.m. Sunday. The event is free to attend.

    Singin' In The Rain

    Paramount Theatre

    You have another chance to catch the 1920’s classic Singin' in the Rain at the Paramount Theatre this weekend. The show is filled with laughs, singing, dancing and of course a nightly rainfall. About 500 gallons are used to make it rain during the first and second acts. The show runs Friday through Sunday with tickets going for $34. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
