This Friday is a PURPLE Friday!

It's time for all Vikings fans to get fired up, excited, and to show our team spirit this Friday -- 'PURPLE Friday,' by gearing up and wearing our Vikings stuff to work. Jerseys, hoodies, hats, horns, sweatshirts, whatever. We'll be wearing ours!

I get it by the way; we've had our collective sports-hearts broken so many times we feel a little gun-shy about believing. The Vikes are two wins away from the Super Bowl and we think it's 'too early' to get excited -- but I get it.

I'm a Minnesota-born, Vikings fan since birth -- and we've believed and been disapointed more times than we can count...but it doesn't matter. The time to jump on, dig in, celebrate, and flaunt our team pride is now. In other words we need to be less, Minnesotan. :)

So join us here at 96.7 The River in celebrating PURPLE Friday, this Friday. (And with any luck we'll be able to celebrate another one next week.)
