The Minnesota Timberwolves (6-9) beat the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 107-100 Wednesday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Timberwolves were strong in the first half, taking a 67-54 into the break. The Pelicans battled back in the second half, holding the Wolves to 40 points. New Orleans took a brief lead before Minnesota climbed on top for good.

Karl Anthony-Towns led Minnesota in scoring Wednesday night with 25 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 assists. Andrew Wiggins added 23, and Jeff Teague scored 14.

E'Twaun Moore led the Pelicans with 31 points.
