UNDATED -- Gas prices in some parts of the country could spike after oil refineries in Texas were shut down ahead of Tropical Storm Harvey.  But, AAA Minnesota spokewoman Gail Weinholzer says we may only see a small price spike here in the Midwest.

It may be a few days before the refineries in Texas are restarted. That could cause a pinch in gasoline supplies. But, Weinholzer says we get our gasoline from refineries outside of Chicago and Oklahoma.

Any price spike in Minnesota would only be about 10-cents per gallon and last a few weeks according to Weinholzer. She says other parts of the country could pay around 25-cents more.

By the end of September, we should experience a seasonal decline in prices.
