The Twins overcame a 5-0 deficit to beat the Toronto Blue Jays 13-7 Sunday to split the 4 game series at 2 games apiece.  Minnesota fell behind 5-0 in the 2nd inning before Minnesota scored 7 runs in the 2nd and 6 more in the 5th.

Joe Mauer hit a grand slam and drove in 5 runs on the day, Eddie Rosario homered twice and Byron Buxton had 3 hits including his 16th homerun this season.  Kyle Gibson threw 6 innings with 5 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 11-10.

The Twins have increased their lead for the 2nd wildcard spot in the American League.  Minnesota leads by 2 games over the Angels and 4 1/2 over Seattle.

The Twins begin a 3-game series in New York against the Yankees at 6:10 tonight, pregame on WJON at 5:30.
