United Passenger Given Ridiculous Voucher After Being Bumped

I would volunteer to give up my seat in a heartbeat if they offered me this deal!

That's not how it worked with Allison Preiss, though. She was actually bumped off the plane and then offered a voucher worth a thousand dollars. And then she started tweeting.

She brought up all the bad press United has had lately, and before you know it, she was offered a travel voucher worth 10 THOUSAND dollars. Yowser!  She also got a couple of $10 meal vouchers.

Oh, the places I could go with that kind of travel credit! For the record, I recently flew United Airlines from Belgium to Minneapolis, and everything was great. The flight was on time, smooth, and comfortable. And the crew was wonderful. So while we usually only hear the bad stuff when it comes to airlines, there are a lot of good stories out there too.
