Yesterday's win by the Minnesota Vikings in Atlanta, combined with the Philadelphia Eagles loss last night in Seattle has nudged the Vikings into the top spot in the NFC. If the season ended today, Minnesota would have home field advantage all the way through the Super Bowl.

Both the Vikings and Eagles have identical 10-2 records, but Minnesota gets the edge due to the NFL's tie-breaker formula.

The Vikings finish out the last four games of the regular season at Carolina, home against Cincinnati, at Green Bay, and home against Chicago. The final four games four the Eagles are at the LA Rams, at the NY Giants, home against Oakland, and home against Dallas.

Both the Los Angeles Rams and new Orleans Saints are knocking at the door with 9-3 records. The Vikings have already defeated both this year.

There are obviously a ton of variables between now and Super Sunday, but it's been a fun ride so far.

Skol Vikings!
