I remember my dad waking me up before the sun every Labor Day Weekend, so we could make the drive to Rollag for the Steam Threshers Reunion. We had to get there in time for breakfast!

My dad was a farmer in the Red River Valley, and he loved this event. But you don't have to be a farmer to enjoy it. Since 1954, people have been coming from all over to relive the traditions of times past.

There are two parades daily, a free train and merry-go-round rides, tractor pulls, pioneer exhibits, music, food, and of course, an amazing collection of gas and steam engines from years past.

Get there in time for breakfast. I'm guessing it's just as good today as it was all those years ago. Maybe I'll see you there!
