The Minnesota Wild (39-23-7) lost to the Edmonton Oilers (30-34-4) 4-1 last night in Edmonton to a 1-1 split on their 2-day western Canada road trip. The Wild beat the Canucks Friday night in Vancouver.

The Wild and Oilers were tied 0-0 after the first, before the Oilers opened a 2-0 lead in the second period. Minnesota climbed back in to start the scoring in the third -- only to see the Oilers answer with two more.

The loan Minnesota goal came from Charlie Coyle (10). The Wild outshot the Oilers 33-28.

With thirteen games remaining in the regular season, the Wild remain in third place in the Central Division. The top three divisional finishers advance to the post season, along with the next best two teams in the conference.
