Bye bye, Prince, hello...?

If you've been to a MN Wild home game in the past two years, you've likely heard Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" blast through Excel Energy Center after the Wild net a goal.

Well, this week the Wild announced that they'll be replacing The Purple One's familiar anthem with a new goal song during the Wild's home opener this Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

That comes from TheAthletic.com who reports that season ticket holders will once again get to vote for the Wild's new goal song. Their two options are Joe Satriani's "Crowd Chant" and Kaleo's "Glass House." If "Crowd Chant" seems familiar, that's because it was the goal song from 2000-2016 before being replaced by "Let's Go Crazy" following Prince's passing.

UPDATE: The season ticket holders have spoken -- "Crowd Chant" is this year's goal song!

Kaleo's "Glass House" is lesser known, but sounds like it would make for a great anthem for a bunch of Minnesota Wild fans to get raucous to.

The Wild open their season Thursday at 8:00pm against Colorado. Saturday's home opener against Vegas begins at 7:00pm.
