The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory in effect through Noon Saturday for portions of central Minnesota including Stearns, Todd, Douglas, Pope, Kandiyohi, and Meeker counties.

Wind chills in the warning area are expected to drop to -25° to -35° overnight into Saturday morning.

From the National Weather Service this morning: A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
