The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10 PM tonight through 10 AM Saturday for portions of Central & Northern Minnesota including Benton, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Todd, Douglas, and Kanabec Counties.

4-6" of snow is likely in St. Cloud, with 6-8" possible in Little Falls and Mora -- and 8-12" in Brainerd, Onamia, and Hinckley.

From the National Weather Service this evening: A swath of snow, some heavy at times, will develop tonight across portions of central Minnesota through northwest Wisconsin. Snowfall accumulations of 6 to 10 inches are expected in the Warning area, with 3 to 6 inches expected in the Advisory area. Some blowing snow is also forecast due to strengthening winds very late tonight and Saturday. Gusts up to 40 mph are possible.
