The National Weather Service says that we are in for a mixed bag of winter weather across Central Minnesota for Sunday and Monday -- with snow, and maybe even freezing rain and drizzle possible as two waves of winter weather will affect our area.

Exact amounts of accumulation are still elusive at this point, but a couple of inches looks likely for St. Cloud on Sunday -- with more coming on Monday. Stay tuned over the next day or two as things become clearer.

From the National Weather Service this evening: A band of snow will push across central/northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin Sunday, with a broad area of 3 to 6 inches expected. More precipitation will develop Monday, with freezing rain or drizzle across southern Minnesota into central Wisconsin. At this time, it appears amounts Monday will be light.
