Your Pickle Juice Fetish is About to Get Tickled

We all know that person who leaves the pickle jar dry before the pickles are even gone. If that thought makes you gag, it's about to get worse thanks to Sonic Drive-In. This is just gross.

Sonic is releasing a new slushy flavor this summer, and you'll either love it, or hate it. It's called the Pickle Juice Slush, due to be available by mid-June of this year.

Foodbeast announced that they got a chance to try this interesting new menu choice and here's what they had to say about it:

The pickle juice slush is made with a unique syrup that provides a punch of briny acidity, but has enough sweetness to take the sharpness out of the flavor.

I'm telling you, this is real. Here's a couple tweets about it:

At first many people who heard about this thought it was just a joke. It's very real, and honestly makes me get that gaggy wet mouth just thinking about it. I'm sure we all know SOMEBODY that will go nuts when they hear about this. The same people that pour pickle juice into a glass and drink it like water. The good news for those people are that they don't just take care of their pickle juice fetish with this slush drink, but Sonic will also offer the syrup to flavor anything you'd like. So if a pickle juice & coke tickles you, they'll gladly serve it up! (barf!!!)

St. Cloud doesn't have a Sonic, which is surprising, so you'll have to take a 30-minute drive down Hwy 10 to Elk River to get your hands on this. Don't call me to ask if I'd like you to pick one up for me. I like pickles, but thinking about drinking the pickle juice has me more interested in scooping toilet water from the bowl...which I'd never do for the record.
