7 MN Breweries Win Medals at US Open Beer Championship
Seven Minnesota craft breweries took home a total of 10 medals from the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Cup.
More than 7,000 beers representing over 130 different styles recently competed at the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Cup in Oxford, Ohio. Judges from England, Canada and the United States judged beers from Russia to Rhode Island brewed by breweries and home brewers alike. When it was all said and done, 7 Minnesota breweries were awarded a total of 10 medals.
They are:

Silver: Bearded Man -- Old Ale / Strong Ale
2. August Schell Brewing Company, New Ulm, MN
Silver: Binary Storm -- Berliner Weisse
3. Lakeville Brewing Company, Lakeville, MN
Silver: Knee High -- American Cream Ale
4. Waconia Brewing Company, Waconia, MN
Gold: Cookies and Cream Milk Stout -- Specialty Beer/Anything Goes
5. Lift Bridge Brewing Company, Stillwater, MN
Silver: Barrel Aged Silhouette -- Barrel-Aged Strong Stout/Porter
Silver: Root Beer -- Root Beer
Bronze: Mini Donut Cream Soda -- Soft Drinks
6. Able Seedhouse & Brewery, Minneapolis, MN
Silver: BLK WLF -- Session Beer
7. Foxhole Brewhouse, Willmar, MN
Gold: The Hunted -- English Barley Wine Ale
Gold: 4th St Wheat -- American Wheat(Light and Dark)
