A Day At Como Zoo And Conservatory

We thought about it. And then we thought a little more. Thank goodness we didn't go back to the Minnesota State Fair for a second time this year on Saturday. Turns out, it was the biggest attendance day EVER at the fair. The previous Saturday was so crowded, we left at 2pm. I can only imagine what this past Saturday was like.

So, off we went to Como Zoo and Conservatory. It was a good decision. While parking was tough to find, it didn't feel crowded. And it's such a beautiful place to walk around on a nice summer day.

But, before we went to Como, we stopped at a great little shop in Minneapolis called "I Like You" (awesome name) filled with gifts made right here in Minnesota! Then we headed to The Herbivorous Butcher right next door. They sell fully cooked, meat-free meats and cheeses. And they're fantastic!

It was a fun, spontaneous day. Those are often times the best! What did you do over Labor Day Weekend?
