A NEW CHAPTER FOR CRAGUN’S RESORT!

After 85 incredible years, we’re turning the page to an exciting new chapter! Cragun’s Resort has entered into an agreement with a local investment group led by Jamie Tatge, a Brainerd Lakes resident and respected resort management specialist.
From rustic cabins in the 1940s to a premier lakeside getaway with world-class golf, Cragun’s has been a home away from home for generations. Families have gathered here, traditions have been made, and lifelong memories have been created on these shores. And now, we’re ensuring that legacy continues for years to come!
A heartfelt thank you to Dutch and Irma Cragun, whose passion and dedication shaped the resort into the place we all know and love today. Their vision has given countless families a place to reconnect, relax, and return to year after year.
As we look to the future, one thing remains the same—Cragun’s will always be a place where memories are made & people come together. The future is brighter than ever, and we can’t wait to share everything with you!

According to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Business Journal, Cragun's was sold to Leisure Hotels & Resorts, which is led by Jamie Tatge, the President of Leisure Hotels & Resorts.
