The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a burglary on the 700 block of 33rd Avenue North where forced entry was used to enter a business and nicotine vapes were taken.
Sartell’s Fitzthum; More Commercial Developments Coming Soon
Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum predicted a big year for commercial growth in Sartell in 2023 and so far that is looking like it will be the case. Fitzthum joined me on WJON. He explained the Aldi grocery store going into to the River Crossing development will be joined shortly by 4 more smaller retail stores going into that development.

Albany Captures Boys Basketball State Title
Albany earned their first boys basketball state championship by defeating Minnehaha Academy 72-65 Saturday afternoon at Target Center in the Class 2-A State Championship. The Huskies led 39-31 at halftime and held off the Red Hawks in the 2nd half.
Huskies Top Mavericks at NCAAs in Fargo
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team defeated Minnesota State 4-0 in Fargo in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in Fargo, North Dakota Thursday. The Huskies scored a pair of goals in the 2nd period and added 2 more in the 3rd including an empty netter.
Crimestoppers: Gun Pulled on Vehicle in St. Cloud
The St. Cloud Police Department are looking for suspect involved in a traffic incident. A victim is reporting they were followed by a gray SUV with a broken passenger window and the other windows had dark tint.
St. Cloud Pot Hole and Flood Preparation Update
The City of St. Cloud has been working on filling pot holes this week. That according to St. Cloud Public Services Director Tracy Hodel. She says they've been using a combination of cold mix and heated up mix to fill these pot holes the best they can. Hodel acknowledges these patches aren't likely to hold for long due to the freeze, thaw cycle, we're in.
Albany Boys Basketball Marches On at State Tournament
Albany started fast and held off Pequot Lakes 69-53 at Williams Arena in the Class 2-A State Boys Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals Tuesday night. The Huskies led 27-18 at halftime and outscored Pequot Lakes 42-35 in the 2nd half.
