The B-52s and Devo are teaming up for an unforgettable night of hits at the brand-new, amazing Mystic Lake Amphitheater on Sunday, September 20th- and 96.7 The River wants to send you there!

B-52s TO PLAY SHOW UNDER 'SPECIAL' SITUATION

The B-52s formed in 1976 and feature an extensive catalog of smash hits like "Private Idaho," "Party Out of Bounds," "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack."

The group has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, with the first coming in 1990.

The B-52s announced a 'farewell tour' in 2022 before taking a residency at The Venetian Las Vegas in 2023-24. One of the band's singers, Fred Schneider, said the retirement from full-on touring does not preclude the band from playing 'in special situations.'

“In 2022, I swore I’d never get on a tour bus again,” Schneider said in a press release, via PITCHFORK. “But we were careful to say to our fans that we would still perform in special situations that don’t require all of the awful tour travel. Our Vegas residency is going great, and when we were offered the chance to do a small run of shows with Devo, we all said this is an extraordinary opportunity we couldn't say no to.”

DEVO 

Devo also formed in the mid-1970s and is best known for their 1980 hit "Whip It." The band is considered among the pioneers of new wave and punk rock and is a very influential band in the electronic music space.
