
Beer Fest Set For This Weekend At The World’s Largest Ice Maze
On Saturday, January 25th, the world's largest ice maze combines with beers from several Minnesota breweries at the Minnesota Ice Festival.
The Minnesota Ice Festival is held at the Minnesota Vikings training facility in Eagan.
The price of admission on Saturday, January 25th includes beer samples from over a dozen Minnesota craft breweries, the aforementioned world's largest ice maze (18,000 square feet), 100+ ice sculptures, ice slides a skating rink and more.
The ice maze was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records on January 10th as being the largest in the world, beating the previous title holder by 50%.
In total, the ice maze uses 3,452 blocks of ice that each weigh 425 lbs. With an exterior height of over nine feet, the maze stretches to a massive 134'x134'.
Included within the maze is 'QB's Scavenger Hunt,' which can earn maze-goers prizes after they complete it.
Other events slated to take place at the festival include musician Adam Daniel in the Minnesota Lottery Warming House, a Bloody Mary bar by Cry Baby Craig's and a meet-and-skate with Leslie Fhima of the Golden Bachelor.

Tickets for the event are limited and cost $29.50 for adults and $16.16 for children ages 5-14. Kids under five are admitted free but do need a ticket.
The festival runs through February 16th. Parking is free.
