Have you been traveling around looking at light displays this year? Some of them get very creative and fun.  It's so festive and inviting...and this year we have snow, which I think adds to the magic of the season.  The last couple of years we have been lacking in that department, so it's nice to have a white Christmas this year.  Although I'm in the camp of after Christmas it can go away.

The last couple of years, and last year for sure, there is an annual light display that is simply amazing and has won as the best light display in the country.  And this year they have won again.

WHO IS THE WINNER OF THE BEST LIGHT DISPLAY IN THE UNITED STATES

If you head up to Duluth for some holiday cheer, you must check out Bentleyville.  They have again been named as the best light show in the country.

I have had the oppotunity to walk through Bentleyville.  It really is amazing, and there is so much to see, along with a little rest area in the middle with some snacks and beverages.  Pefect place for a break and to have a hot beverage.

Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, popcorn, and marshmallows to roast at one of the many firepits. Children 12 and under who visit Santa will receive a Bentleyville knit hat and a bag of cookies. This season, we’re celebrating 22 years of lights!

MAKE SURE YOU DRESS FOR THE CONDITIONS AND BEYOND

Make sure you dress warmly.  Warmer than you actually think you need to.  I found that out the hard way.  It was just under 30 degrees when we went. I did have hat, boots, mittens, and a nice warm coat.  I needed some snow pants too.  Just chilly.  Wind might have been a factor too.  Just dress warm!  It's worth the walk through for sure!
