Billie Joe Armstrong Covers the Bangles and Tiffany

If you try and look at the 'Stay at Home' situation through a glass half-full lens, you can find a few positives. One is people get bored, like famous music artists. And it seems when some of them get bored they want to perform -- for anybody.

We've seen them offer free music lessons and stream live performances. Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong dropped a couple of cover songs for us -- and not songs you would think he would cover.

He decided to cover "I Think We're Alone Now" from Tiffany (really Tommy James and the Shondells) and "Manic Monday" from the Bangles -- featuring Susanna Hoffs. Both versions are pretty good and have that Billie Joe vibe to them.
