Bo Knows: Massive Trading Card And Memorabilia Show In Minnesota This Weekend!
Like a lot of kids in the early 1990's, I was heavily invested literally and figuratively in sports cards. My dad and I spent countless hours opening pack after pack searching for rookies, autographs and inserts.
In fact, we would even set up a table at local card shows in the Twin Cities to try to sell our newly-acquired treasures. Heck, we even did a baseball card show on the floor at Met Center!
While the card industry took a dive in the early 2000's, it is back in full force in 2025. Instead of mere rookies and inserts, collectors are now on the hunt for cards featuring game-used memorabilia, autographs and other accoutrements as well as cards produced in lower quantities- sometimes even only one of a given card exists.
Serious fans and casual collectors alike will be on hand at the Minnesota Card Show at St. Paul's RiverCentre from Thursday, April 10th through Sunday, April 13th.
In addition to the trading cards and memorabilia, several athletes will be on hand to sign autographs including Bo Jackson, Chuck Knoblauch, Jamie Langenbrunner, Pat Mahomes, Sr and Sarah Bacon.
Former Twins broadcaster Dick Bremer and actors Daniel Logan and Jay Goede will also be available for autographs.
Prices for the autographs vary from Jackson's $159-$189 fee to Knoblauch's $15 price tag.
General admission tickets will be sold at the door, while four-day passes and VIP packages are available through Ticketmaster.
