Who knew Buffalo, MN was recognizable for more than just their giant statues of...buffalo?

Buffalo, MN was recently featured in an article by OnlyInYourState.com for being home to some of the best thrift stores in Minnesota!

Wise Penny Thrift Shoppe was recognized for its longevity, offering "housewares to kids' clothes - and everything in-between" for over 30 years.

Second Hand Rose is an occasional store only open the first Thursday - Sunday of each month. It's worth the planned visit, though, for the "gently used and upcycled housewares and furniture" inside.

Now and Again -- though small in appearance - is filled with items from a variety of vendors, making this a place worth stopping in often.

In addition to thrift stores, the article went on to recognize notable antique stores in Buffalo, including Buffalo Nickel.

Personally, my wife Katie and I would recommend a stop at Biggs & Co in downtown Buffalo. Not thrift nor necessarily antique, this one is somewhere between home-crafted boutique and furniture items. We LOVED the things we found in here. Some lights made out of re-purposed antique cameras were some of the coolest things I've ever seen!
