Central MN Brewery Joins Campaign to Support CA Fire Relief Efforts
Over 1,000 breweries around the world have joined together to brew the same fundraiser beer.
Following one of the worst state fires to happen to California, one craft brewery stepped forward to help rebuild.
Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico, CA publicly shared that they would be brewing a Resilience Butte County Proud IPA with 100% of sales going back to support relief efforts.
In addition to stating that they would be brewing this fundraising beer, Sierra Nevada Brewing also challenged breweries across the country to join the effort in brewing the same beer and donating their sales to the relief efforts as well.
By brewing day Tuesday, November 27 over 1,000 breweries around the world -- including several Minnesota breweries -- had pledged to join the campaign.
Rustech Brewing in Monticello was one of those breweries, taking to Facebook to share that they would also be brewing Resilience Butte County Proud IPA.
While a release date hasn't yet been announced, Rustech says stay tuned to their Facebook page for more details.
