The “Baby Jumping Festival”

There are some strange and sometimes dangerous traditions in the world. This is one of them. The Baby Jumping Festival happens in Spain every year. Men dressed up as devils jump over babies on mattresses. The thought is it will drive away evil and cleanse the babies of original sin. The devils also chase teens and spank them with whips. Again, to drive away evil. It's been going on since 1620.
