Check Out the Flower Show at Como Zoo Conservatory
This pandemic is still going on, and I for one am getting pretty stir-crazy. It's nice when I find things like this that can be done with social distancing and other COVID protocols. Also gets you out of the house and in a climate-controlled environment. I am also a wuss when it comes to the cold weather, so this also sounds like a great thing to do.
I'm talking about taking a little road trip to the Como Zoo Conservatory. This is a short drive from St. Cloud, just over an hour away. And it's something that the family can do together. With mostly distance learning for some kids, it's also something that can entertain everybody for a bit.
There are a couple of shows going on, and feature some different flowers. The first show is going on now through the end of November. But it will be closed next week from the 2nd through the 6th. This is to change up some of the features. The first one is full of color for Halloween. The second half of the Fall show will feature more colors suitable for later Fall.
So, if you are bored, and want to get the kids out, or take an elderly person out for a bit, this might be the place to go. Easy to social distance and make sure everyone stays safe during this time. But the biggest thing...get out and do something fun together. At least a few people can be together for a bit.
