Your Favorite Dessert Shop Is Moving Into Sartell

A new place to grab a sweet treat is coming to Sartell in July!

Last month, Clutch Take and Bake Pizza closed its doors at 2nd Street South in Sartell. Now, a new business is poised to take over that space next month.

Christine's Cheesecakes, a Central Minnesota favorite with a current location in Waite Park, has announced they will be moving in to the former Clutch Take and Bake Pizza location in Sartell, beginning in July. No exact date has been given.

The Sartell location will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday when officially ready for business.

Christine's Cheesecakes opened its storefront in Waite Park in 2019 and since then has been a staple at local carnivals, community festivals, parades, the Benton County Fair, Summertime By George and more.

When I was little, my mom used to tell me all about how "everyone has something that they're good at." And that always made me a little nervous, because I was pretty good at those latch-hook rug kits, and what if that was my "thing I was good at" and that's all I got. No offense to latch-hook rug enthusiasts, but I think that would be a pretty crappy way to go through life.

 

But what my mom DIDN'T tell me is that some people have something that they're GREAT at. And for me, that's making cheesecake. (That sounds really braggy, but lighten up – it's cheesecake. I'm not claiming to be great at world peace or cancer curing. Plus, it's true.) So let's get together. I'll be great and you'll be happy. (And so will my mom.)

Clutch Take and Bake Pizza closed its doors at the Rolling Green 2 complex in early May. They had held that location since May of 2019 after taking over from the former Mastoni's Pizza business in that spot.
