Elton John- “I Didn’t Live A PG-13 LIfe”

The long anticipated movie "Rocketman" comes out this weekend.  I cannot wait for this movie, especially after seeing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and this one is supposed to be a similar movie as far as the acting, and most other things that go into a great movie.

This movie has been made with the total approval of Elton John, himself.  The studio wanted to tone down the sex and drugs and just focus on the movie, and story of Elton John's rise to fame.  But he wanted nothing to do with that, saying...

"Some studios wanted to tone down the sex and drugs so the film would get a PG-13 rating. But I just haven't led a PG-13 rated life," John wrote in a piece for The Guardian. "I didn't want a film packed with drugs and sex, but equally, everyone knows I had quite a lot of both during the '70s and '80s, so there didn't seem to be much point in making a movie that implied that after every gig, I'd quietly gone back to my hotel room with only a glass of warm milk and the Gideon's Bible for company."

This movie comes out this weekend... if you want to see it on opening weekend my suggestion is to call ahead, or stop in and purchase your tickets ahead of time.
