Fall Back: Daylight Saving Time Ends This Sunday Morning
2:00 AM this Sunday morning marks the end of Daylight Saving Time. Either Saturday night before you go to bed, or Sunday morning when you get up; remember to set your clocks back one hour (or be really early everywhere you go Sunday).
If you don't want to bother with it, you'll be back in sync with the rest of us when we Spring Forward on March 8th.
It's also the annual reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors. Be safe!
In addition to the whole time change thing, tomorrow is Halloween, and there's a full moon Saturday night. Not just any full moon, but a rare 'Blue Moon,' the name given to a second full moon in the same month.
So, 'fall back,' Halloween, and a full moon all on the same weekend in 2020. What could go wrong? Sunday is also November first (not that it means a whole lot). However, when November first falls on a Sunday, it means that two weeks from today we'll be blessed with a Friday the 13th.
Only one more thing would make me feel like the end is near. Sunday, the Vikings go into Lambeau Field and shutout the Green Bay Packers 34 to nothing. But wait, there's more. Kirk Cousins doesn't throw an interception. Freaky, I know.
2020 has been crazy. Will 2021 be any different?
