The Minnesota Timberwolves lost their seventh straight game on Friday night against the LA Clippers.

The Wolves trailed the Clippers in every quarter but one. Minnesota trailed by four after the first quarter, and by seven at the half.

Down 65-58, the Timberwolves struggled big time in the third quarter, opening the gap even more to 102-81. In the final quarter of the game, Minnesota outscored Los Angeles 36-22, but it was not enough to catch up. The Wolves lost it 124-117.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the team with 39 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Andrew Wiggins finished with 34 points, three rebounds, and two assists, and Jeff Teague added 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

The Timberwolves fall to 10-15 and will get a short break before hosting the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. Pre-game starts at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1240 and 95.3 FM WJON.
