I love these types of events.  Events where you can try new things and not have a huge commitment when you are trying those new things.  Like you aren't at Costco wondering if you should be the five pack of some crazy cracker you haven't tried before. Is it good?  It's nice to try things first, and sometimes it's something that you never would have thought of trying before. When it's right there - let's give it a go.

It's the 31st Annual Food and Wine Event happening March 12th through the 15th.  Right before St. Patrick's Day.  That's Tuesday, March 17th, by the way.

Minnesota Monthly's 31st Annual Food & Wine Experience will take place March 12 to 15, featuring multiple tasting events that bring in dishes from local chefs and restaurateurs, as well as sips from local and national wineries, breweries, and other beverage makers, including hemp-derived THC drinks.

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE WITH A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET

If you go with just the General Admission option rather than the VIP option, you will still have a great experience.

  • Samples of unique varietals of local, regional and national wines
  • Tastings of mouth-watering food from award-winning culinary experts
  • Pours of specialty beers and spirits
  • Locally crafted gifts for purchase
  • Commemorative tasting glass
  • And so much more across the full concourse!

You do have the option to go with a VIP experience.  That will cost you a bit more too, obviously.  And already, Saturday is sold out of VIP.  You can, however, get Sunday VIP tickets.  Or, Thursday VIP tickets.  Those tickets are $35 more than the general admission tickets which are priced at $100.

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE WITH A VIP EXPERIENCE TICKET

Be among the first to sip and sample! Enjoy early entry, complimentary parking, exclusive access, and indulgent extras inside the Truly OnDeck VIP area before the show opens to all.

So, basically the same as General Admission plus some other perks, which might be totally worth it.

If you want to see what the event entails and who the list of vendors are that will be at the event, you can check out the daily schedule and figure out if you want to go all the days, or just pick and choose the one that most interests you and your tastes.  Check out the Food and Wine Experience website.
