I have always maintained that free food always tastes better.  I mean, you really can't go wrong with any sort of free food.  If it's free, then YAY!  Let's get some pancakes!

Every year IHOP has a free pancake day, and tomorrow, March 3rd is the day for this year.

HOW DOES THE FREE PANCAKE DAY WORK

Well, first, you don't have to buy something with it.  So, it's not a buy one, get a free short stack of pancakes for free.  You can, however, make a donation, if you would like.  The proceeds from any donation you make goes to Feeding America through local food banks.  IHOP has guanranteed that they will make a minimum donation of $150K to the cause.  This is a two part promotion.

MONEY GOES TO THE FOOD SHELVES IN THE AREA

The first part is tomorrow - March 3rd.  Free Pancake Day - you can make a free-will donation.  Regardless, you can get a short stack of pancakes.  (tax and gratutity are not included).  Then, from March 30th through the end of the year, December 31st, the suppliers for IHOP will participate in a promotion though coffee sales.  A penny from every pound of coffee sold to IHOP will go to the charity.  Every dollar raised helps with 20 meals through the Feeding America program.

By the way, it's not valid with any other promotions or discounts and there cannot be any substitutions.

So, start your day with some pancakes from IHOP.  Hours are from 7am to 8pm, and it is for dine-in only.  Plan accordingly!
